Ijal Mariachi – Visual artist, born and raised in Bali. His passion for drawing has been a lifelong friend from when he was 8 years old. Highlighting the abstract and surreal qualities of the pop style, Ijal’s work features exaggerated close ups of daily life, contemporary and a unique world view. He refers his own style as psychedelic pop.

On a stage set with basic bright colour combinations, he builds his characters and perspectives to communicate specific concepts, inherent personalities, and the emotions caught within that moment in time. Known for his clarity of line and composition, he supplements his art with commercial and editorial illustration projects, mural, exhibitions, and collaborations for a wide variety of clients including Marvel Studios, Walt Disney Indonesia, Jack Daniels, W Hotel, Plaga Wine, Slank, etc
